Ukraine’s representative for Eurovision-2026, LELÉKA, together with Italian composer Stefano Lentini released a mini-album with soundtracks for the new season of Mare Fuori (The Sea Beyond) series. This was reported by Suspilne.
The album consists of 3 songs recorded in Ukrainian and English. As composer Stefano Lentini mentioned, he heard LELÉKA’s performance on one of the Radio Tre programs and offered a partnership.
Most of the vocals for the songs were recorded in Berlin, and the tracks were finalized in Rome.
«It is a great honor for me to work with Stefano Lentini on this mini-album. His invitation felt as a gift and a test of courage at the same time. It encouraged me to give it a thought, whether I was ready to face such mastery on equal footing. This work is honest, intimate, and gently melancholic. In a world that seems unstable and uncertain, these songs reflect my search for self-compassion, the strength to start over, and the humility to take those first steps without judging myself», — LELÉKA commented.
Specifically, the songs «First Steps», «Forget It» and «The River» feature in the sixth season of the series Mare Fuori (The Sea Beyond), produced in collaboration with Rai Fiction and Picomedia. Stefano Lentini is known in the Ukrainian film industry for composing the music for the Ukrainian-Italian film «The Nest of the Turtledove», which won several awards at the National Film Awards «Golden Dzyga» including the top prize for «Best Film».
LELÉKA has released an updated version of the song “Ridnym,” with which she will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna.
